Opened in 1914, Wrigley Field in Chicago is one of the last classic American ballparks. Pearl Jam are one of the greatest and most important rock bands of the modern era. So what do you get when these two cultural touchstones from different eras collide? The fastest concert sellout in the venue's history, that's what.

Pearl Jam's show at the storied baseball stadium, set for Friday, July 19, is completely sold out. Cubs spokesman Julian Green confirmed that last week's pre-sale dried up in 45 minutes, and during Saturday's general on-sale, tickets flew out the door.

Originally priced between $52 and $77, tickets are already popping up on resellers like Craigslist and StubHub, where markups are ranging from several hundred to over a thousand bucks.

Often times in these situations, an artist or band will add a second show to accommodate fans shut out from buying tickets, but that won’t be happening in this case, as the field is already booked, and there isn’t room available to add another show. That means Windy City PJ fans that gobbled up tickets are in for a one-of-a-kind show.
