‘Paws & Claus’ This Saturday Benefits the SPCA of East Texas
This morning while making breakfast, I felt two familiar paws on my leg, which in "cat" means please pick me up and hug me. So I did.
We adopted Jasper the Cat a few months ago, and though he was a stranger not long ago, now we can't imagine our lives without him. It was the same way with his "sister," Juniper. It reminded me, once again, how much our furry friends are our constant companions and family. Can you relate? I bet you feel, like I do, that animals deserve our love and support in finding their forever homes. The SPCA of East Texas is committed to this on a larger scale, and by supporting their efforts, we support the animals, too.
Show your support and celebrate the season, when ETX Brewing Co. in Tyler hosts "Paws & Claus" this Saturday, December 15, 1:00 p.m.– 4:00 p.m. Benefiting the SPCA of East Texas, donations and pet supplies will be gratefully received. Bring the kids, your pets, or yourself for a picture with Santa or create an adorable paw-print ornament with the help of the folks from Pottery Cafe--what a heartfelt stocking stuffer that could be!
