Almost a month has passed without word of or from Kimberly Flint, and the search continues.

The Rusk County Sheriff's office issued a missing report on Kimberly Flint on Sept. 26. At that time she was last seen the day before headed East on Highway 84 near Reklaw.

NBC news reported that her son explained Kimberly is a homebody who didn't like to leave the house, nor did she like to drive. As a matter of fact, on the day she disappeared, she had declined her husband's suggestion they go out to eat to celebrate their son returning from a two-month long work trip driving trucks.

Her husband received a phone call later that same day from the Rusk County Sheriff's office alerting him to their wrecked car on Highway 84. According to NBC news, the car was found in neutral, with both sets of keys inside as well as Kimberly's glasses.

She was nowhere to be found.

According to KLTV, Kimberly's son, James, said his mom battles depression but was doing better. That is why she is considered endangered.

“I believe she had a mental lapse,” Flint said. “She got up from her chair, grabbed the keys, jumped in the Jeep Grand Cherokee, and drove this way. And for whatever reason, whether it was her mental state or a distraction, she crashed. And from there I don’t know where she’s at."

So the search continues. From a dedicated website and Facebook page, to a GoFundMe page, to posts on social media, friends and family are making sure Kimberly's story stays alive in hopes of finding her.

“She knew that my dad was coming home within 45 minutes with her food, and she knew I was coming in after working for two months,” Kimberly's son told NBC news. “Why would she just jump up, leaving everything?”

Kimberly Flint is 5 feet, 7 inches tall and is 57 years old. A $5,000 reward is now being offered for any leads to finding her
