I’m Pretty Sure My Neighbors in Flint, Texas Are Going to Hate Me
My neighbors are all pretty nice people, respectful of each other, and always willing to help out if you need anything. My hope is the weather doesn’t change that, because this heat is making people do things they don’t want to do, such as mow the lawn way too late or way too early. While I really hope it doesn’t make my neighbors too angry (to avoid the extreme temperatures) I will be changing the time I normally mow to whenever is not going to kill me with these really hot temps were dealing with.
While I understand that no one wants to hear a lawn mower at 3:00am, maybe it’s time to buy my neighbors earplugs. Okay, I am just kidding, I’m not mowing that early in the morning but in all seriousness, we do need to be more understanding of our neighbors working on the lawn earlier or later than normal because of the hot temperatures.
It’s Costing More to Hire a Lawn Professional
While I would love to hire a real professional so my lawn looks good, as the cost of everything is going up adding another expense right now doesn’t sound ideal. Also, lawn companies are super busy right now. If you aren’t already on someone's schedule, it might take longer than you want to have someone come out and clean up your yard.
Don’t Mind My Mowing in the Middle of the Night
As we approach another hot weekend in East Texas just know that if you see or hear someone mowing shirtless at 3:00 am, feel free to ignore me as I am just doing my chores.
