So here’s what happened, Tavares Donnell Colbert purchased a gun, illegally in Kansas. Then on his way to re-sell it in “a convenience store parking lot near SE 44 and Shields Boulevard (in Oklahoma City)” pulled over to ensure it worked — when he shot his own crotch.

It may be crazy to think, but this wasn’t actually Colbert’s first run-in with the law. He is a convicted felon including a 2003 charge for possession of a controlled and dangerous substance with intent to distribute, according to police.
