Lola’s Latest: A Chicago Twist On A Philly Classic Now Here In ETX

Another week, another special on the menu at Lola's Handcrafted Sandwiches. This time, it's the "Phresh Prince", a tribute of sorts to the classic tv show's star Will Smith & his Philadelphia roots.  

The team who brought Lola's to Tyler comes from Chicago, & that's evident in their world class "Italian Beef" sandwich- a Windy City original.  Thus it's really no surprise they score again with a unique interpretation of the legendary Philly cheesesteak.  The Lola's version  starts with a hoagie roll loaded up with hot beef, then it's topped with melted American cheese & sauteed peppers.  If you ask for some grilled onions as an add-on, you'll be one step closer to the genuine article Will's Prince of Bel-Air character raved about to his Southern California pals.
