The Texas Department of Public Safety's West Texas Regional office took to social media this week to post images of the people arrested for human smuggling.

According to the post made by the Texas Department of Public Safety, these arrests were made April 5th through April 18th in the El Paso/West Texas Region. These arrests were made during Operation Lone Star.

If you see signs of human smuggling or other criminal activity in your neighborhood, including stash houses, report it to the Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-252-TIPS (8477).

Since the launch of Operation Lone Star, 502,500 illegal immigrants have been arrested. According to Texas DPS, Operation Lone Star has resulted in more than 40,100 arrests, and more than 35,900 felony charges. Texas law enforcement has also seized more than 468 million doses of fentanyl.
