7 East Texas Weekend Events For The Family – August 16th

(Mix 93-1) Well, it's that time of the year when it just feels way too hot to get outside and do something fun and challenging without feeling miserable, and the need to take a shower after being outdoors for 15 minutes!

This is East Texas after all. We're accustomed to the heat and humidity and the perspiring we're doing this time of the year, so we'll get out there this weekend and try to find something to do where we can at least find some air conditioning, shade, or something cool to drink or eat.

This week, many students went back to school to start a new school year, many others will have their first day of school next week, and they will be celebrating their final weekend of summer this weekend and attending some awesome back-to-school bashes around the area.

2025 Tyler Coin Show

Friday and Saturday
W Front St - Tyler

Arts In The Park
