Pickleball Tournament in Tyler to Benefit Children’s Miracle Network
(Tyler, Texas) It's the sport that seems to have just exploded overnight and is practically everywhere. Pickleball. Look around city parks and country clubs, and you'll notice that tennis courts are being converted into these shorter and much smaller courts, and now pickleball players are rallying those balls back and forth.
Pickleball Craze Hits Tyler
The sport has been around for about 60 years, according to the sport's history from Google AI, and has become pretty mainstream over the last few years. If you have yet to pick up a paddle and a ball like me, there is a great opportunity coming up that you can be a part of, learn about the sport, and help children's pediatric services at the same time.
Play for a Cause with Children’s Miracle Network
The Children's Miracle Network is hosting its annual Pickleball Tournament and Social Clinic to get you familiarized with the sport, and for those who are proficient already, well, see how far you can advance in the tournament.
The event will benefit the Children's Miracle Network at Trinity Mother Frances Hospital in Tyler. Through participation and tournament fees, along with donations, life-saving equipment will be purchased for pediatric patients who are served by Trinity Mother Frances Hospital and the many clinics throughout East Texas.
Be a part of a growing sport. Get some exercise. Get social and cheer on the participants in the tournament. There are a couple of different ways in which you can be a part of this charitable event.
