We scoured the internet for all of the neighborhood rankings we could find across the entire state of Texas. Looking at what experts, media sites, comment sections, and Reddit had to say, we were able to form a list of almost 50 neighborhoods from all across the state of Texas.

These sites all had different criteria for why neighborhoods were selected, so we didn't think it was appropriate to rank them versus one another, but rather to just gather them all for one big list. If you want to take these, look over all of the information, and try to make a Top 10...feel free. We're just here for the info.

You will notice that a few cities appear multiple times, that's because Texas has a couple of cities that are viewed very highly by the trick or treat community. Two Texas cities were ranked in the top 24 cities for trick or treating in the whole country. Not surprisingly, those two cities have multiple neighborhoods that make the list.

But we should also note that this list wasn't built just on candy. There are other elements with these neighborhoods that earned them praise. Comments on Reddit centered around the treats being given (for the most part) but other rankings considered the events, decorations, and vibe these communities and neighborhoods offer during the Halloween season.

If you happen to live in one of these areas, congratulations. But if you don't live in one of these areas, hopefully you have enough time to plan a way to enjoy some of these Halloween festivities.
