I Wasn’t Expecting To See These In Front Of The Alamo
I've been to visit The Alamo in San Antonio a couple of times in my life, but I wasn't expecting to see what I saw in front of it this time! While in San Antonio a couple of weeks ago with my wife and daughter, we decided to take her on a self-guided tour of The Alamo, so that she could say that she's visited it and seen it in person.
The Alamo is one of the biggest tourist attractions in San Antonio, but has also been named one of the biggest let downs too once you get there. With that aside, walking up to this famous landmark I was surprised to see a barrage of snow cone vendors! Yeah, snow cone vendors line the sidewalks leading right up to the front of The Alamo. It's just something I wasn't expecting to see. Here you have one of the most famous sites in Texas that holds so much history and there they are - snow cone vendors! You can't stand across the street to get a wide shot of the entire site without the rainbow colored vendor carts selling their cool summertime creations!
It's a sign of the American dream with one of the most historical sites in Texas I guess!
