(KNUE-FM) For many people, including myself, growing up in the 1990s was a blast. While we didn’t have the internet to keep us connected with all of our friends, it was okay, because lots of kids here in Texas were just riding their bikes to meet up with friends. It was a slower pace of life but very enjoyable and if your childhood included watching the movie Home Alone there is a couple special events taking place in Texas soon that you need to know about.

Home Alone Turns 35 This Year

It’s crazy to think that the iconic holiday movie Home Alone will be celebrating its 35th anniversary this year. So many of us have seen that movie at least a handful of times because it was so good when it was first released, and it’s still fun to watch now.

Texas Hosting Special Movie Screenings

Because of the big milestone anniversary there are a few special screenings that will take place, one being on November 29th at Bass Concert Hall in Austin, Texas. There will be an event the following night on November 30th in Grand Prairie, Texas. To make the event incredible there will be a special moderated interview and audience Q&A with the star of the movie Macaulay Culkin aka Kevin McCallister.

Why Fans Love This Anniversary Tour

As such a big fan of this movie series, I love this idea and all the cool memories it could create for people who love the movie as much as I do. It’s such a wonderful memory from childhood, back before we had bills to pay. Click here for more details on the Home Alone Tour.
