A Hallsville, TX Man Arrested for Beating His 7-Year-Old Son
Violence is never the answer, especially when you’re dealing with a stressful situation with your own family. There was an incident that took place this past weekend that sent a Hallsville, Texas man to jail after he was arrested for injuring his own 7-year-old son.
Kyle Matthew Young was arrested last Friday (September 23rd) by the Harrison County Sheriff’s Office after an altercation took place. While not many details regarding the incident have been released, we do know that Young was charged with injury with intent to cause bodily harm. He is innocent until proven guilty in a court of law but that is a very serious charge.
Kyle Young Has Since Been Released From Jail
After being taken into custody on Friday, Young did pay his $10,000 bond and was released from custody on Sunday.
There Were Reports of a Gun During the Incident
As reported by KETK, there are reports that Young was in possession of a firearm and even pulled it out before law enforcement arrived on the scene. Young also fled the area before Harrison County Sheriff’s arrived, but was found on Curtis Black Road and admitted to committing the assault on the child.
