All eyes were upon Las Vegas, Nevada last night as they played host to Super Bowl LVIII featuring the San Francisco 49ers and Kansas City Chiefs. The first half of the game might not have lived up to the thriller it was billed to be, but the second half sure was a thriller. It was only the second Super Bowl ever to go into overtime.

With three seconds left on the clock, Kansas City's Patrick Mahomes threw a 3-yard touchdown pass to Mecole Hardman to seal the deal for the Chiefs. With the final score of 25-22, the Kansas City Chiefs became back-to-back Super Bowl champions. They go for the three-peat next year!

While thousands of East Texans were tuned into watching the big game, some had to settle for watching it behind bars while sitting in jail, if they had access to a television. Last week was a typical week for Gregg County law enforcement.

Officers from Longview, Kilgore, and White Oak police departments as well as other agencies like the Gregg County Sheriff's Office, Texas Department of Public Safety, game wardens, and more busy last week catching people doing things they shouldn't be doing or having possession of things they shouldn't have.
