31 Individuals Were Jailed In Gregg County On At Least One Felony Charge
It's just a fact of life that there are criminals among us, even here in East Texas. Police officers in Longview, Texas, as well as Kilgore, White Oak, and Gladewater, are out there every day patrolling our streets to make and keep our relatively low crime rate even lower. This brotherhood of officers also includes the Gregg County Sheriff's Office and other state law enforcement departments as they work in coordination to apprehend those who are breaking the law in some way.
In addition to patrolling the streets, they're also serving as counselors in disputes of all kinds, keeping a keen eye out for any kind of illegal activities and making arrests on those who do break the law. Officers are not 'out there' to get you, they just observe behavior and activities, and if you're doing something wrong that's when they take action.
The preferred outcome with any interaction with the public is to settle the issue and let you go about your normal activities. Unfortunately, that's not always the case because some actions require officers to take you into custody and to the county jail.
The following individuals were recently arrested and booked into the Gregg County Jail and received at least one felony charge.
