Several of us at the station got to try out the newest dining experience in Tyler, Texas De Brazil.

Many of you have experienced this meat heaven in your travels. But for those who have not, it is an experience that must be had.

Our night started at the bar, obviously, with their signature drink, the Caipirinha. I'm not one to indulge in fancy drinks but this was very good. It's a mix of Brazilian Cachaça, simple syrup, ice and lime. Very good.

You do have a choice of just enjoying the salad bar or just the meat or both. The salad bar is more than salad, though. Sushi, a variety of cheeses and even some other meats could make for a dinner by itself.

But the star of the show is the many varities of meat that can grace your plate. And all it takes is a flip of your card to "green" to begin the parade of meat heaven.

There are 16 different meats to try. I won't list them all but the selection includes filet mignon, beef ribs, Brazilian Picanha, leg of lamb, flank steak...ok I have to stop because my mouth is watering.

Needless to say, it is all great. I came out with favorites, though. The beef ribs were my favorite. The texture of the meat was perfect, cooked perfectly, seasoned perfectly.

Next was the lamb chops. I've had lamb chops before and enjoyed them but something about the way these were cooked just made my mouth happy.

My final favorite was the Brazilian sausage. This is not your everyday sausage. I could have eaten the whole skewer.

But as I said above, every piece of meat was delicious.

Be warned. A meat coma will ensue if you don't pace yourself. One great aspect of the Texas De Brazil dining experience is you can stay at your table all night if you want. You may need the whole night to taste it all.

And if you're looking for a no fuss Thanksgiving night with the family, Texas De Brazil will be open. And yes, there will be turkey on the menu. Which I'm sure will be mouth watering as well.

You're hungry now, aren't you? Texas De Brazil is located on Old Jacksonville Hwy in Tyler, just past Fresh. Check it out. But make sure you haven't eaten all day.

Bonus Look.
