With people in Texas working so extremely hard every day it is vital to our success to get some good rest each night. I’m talking about uninterrupted deep sleep where you actually feel refreshed in the morning. While it sounds great to have that each night it’s very difficult to make that happen on a regular basis. But there are things that each of us can do to help make sure we are getting restful sleep every night.

It’s incredible how getting good rest at night can drastically change our mood the next day. If you’re restless, tossing and turning in bed at night it’s going to be very difficult to go to work the next day giving your best effort. On the flip side, if you do get a solid 8 or more hours of sleep, you’re giving your body time to rest and be better prepared for the next day. 

One Thing I’ve Learned About Better Sleep 

I’m not a sleep expert, but there are a few things I’ve learned about getting a better night sleep that I wanted to pass along. One being, don’t go cheap on a mattress. I love saving money, but with how important it is to sleep, spend some money and get a good one. Also, avoid too much alcohol before going to bed, you will not sleep well. Just a lesson I learned, a few times, in my college days.
