Sometimes, we just get bored and need something to do. I reached that point recently.

I've heard so much about these AI sites but I hadn't really delved into them. I decided on this one boring day, I'd do exactly that.

I jumped on a couple of sites I'd heard a lot about, ChatGPT and DALL-E. As I was navigating around, I found the AI photo versions of the sites and went, huh, what kind of fun can I have with this?

For whatever reason, my brain went to aliens because nothing seems funnier than seeing aliens right? I decided to ask it to create aliens invading Amarillo, and the pictures I started getting back were, well, take a look for yourself.

So we start with this one, because, well, I'm not sure why. I mean, are those actual aliens? They just look like some weird robots you would see in Transformers or something. I mean, surely the AI doesn't think this is what aliens look like, right?

Ah yes, our first flying object one here. This is not what we envision UFOs to look like at all. These look more like something out of the cartoon "Futurama" than they do UFOs. So far, I'm unimpressed by what AI believes aliens and their spacecraft to be.

Ok, enough is enough here. This one doesn't represent aliens at ALL. This one feels like an Amarillo storm is happening around Halloween. Those skulls just look like decoration or something. Come on AI, you can do better than this.

Just stop it, right now. What is that, a giant pile of kryptonite trying to scare off Superman? Furthermore, these things just look like those weird airblown characters you see outside of businesses waving their arms around and flopping in the wind. Time to try something different.

Maybe switching up the location will help this, I don't know. I'm still learning how to use this thing. Let's switch it up to aliens invading the Texas Panhandle and see if that produces some better results for us.

I think we've established that these AI sites believe this is what UFOs look like, so we're just gonna have to roll with it. However, that's NOT an alien. That just looks like one of Stanley Marsh's weird creations we already see around town.

When this one popped up, my first question was, "where's the rest of the alien?" It's like an eye became detached and started blowing around with the wind in the plains of the panhandle. Either that or this is Mike Wazowski's cousin. If that's the case, we might be getting closer to a true alien here.

FINALLY! Now this one I can believe is an actual alien. Weird, gigantic wings, and its face/head seems to just be one gigantic eye. Yes, I'd say this one passes as an alien apparently invading Palo Duro Canyon. Then again, I could be completely wrong on the location as his alien friends came through and destroyed everything in sight.

So maybe telling it to create aliens invading wasn't my best plan. That said, I'm actually curious to see what else it'll produce with some different searches. Let me think of some off-the-wall stuff and get back to you on that.
