Dude Fakes Getting Stood Up for Valentine’s Day, Gets Free Meal, Makes Donation

A man who only identifies himself as Stephen wanted to prove that "There can’t be a sadder image than a guy in a suit at Outback Steakhouse alone on Valentine’s Day" according to newswest9.com.

He put his plan in motion. He called Outback to reserve a table for two. Why Outback Steakhouse? "The steak? Elite. The price? Elite. The faint idea I might be in Australia? Elite," says Stephen.

Stephen began documenting the night through his Twitter account.

I will have to say, the fake gift was a nice touch. It's a jumper cable bag stuffed with tissue.

Well, it looks like his "experiment" was a success. He got people to fell sorry for him and he got a free meal. He did tip the waiter and made a donation to a cause so a semi win-win.
