Celebi Upgraded My Status To ‘Super Mom’

Late yesterday afternoon I got an urgent phone call from my 9 year old son. By the sound of his voice I thought something was wrong. Thoughts of the dogs running loose through the neighborhood or cat tinkle on the sofa race through my mind -- I readied myself to solve any problem he throws down to me. "Mom you HAVE to stop at GameStop on your way home!" he exclaims with the urgency of a true Pokemon Master. Mom Alert was down graded from red (which is the highest) to white (which is the lowest) -- read more after the jump."Celebi is available at GameStop" he repeats like I am a Pokemon moron (I am -- I have no clue about Pokemon) He pleads with me "Please stop on your way home and get it for me. I NEED this mom -- and I have left my DS in your car so you could do this for me." (Tricky little devil isn't he?) To avoid looking like a total pushover I tell him that I may not have time then I start to grill him about his chores and homework, sounding a little disappointed he said good bye and went to go do his chores. Like a good mom I stopped at the closest GameStop and had this "Celebi" thingie installed on his DS for free.

Gamestop Celebi will be available at Gamestop from February 21st to March 6th for download via Mystery Gift for all owners of Pokemon HeartGold, SoulSilver, Platinum, Diamond & Pearl.

This Celebi "mystery gift" comes with the moves Nasty Plot, Leaf Storm, Recover, & Healing Wish. Gamestop Celebi will be holding a Jaboca Berry. Gamestop Celebi triggers an event at Ilex Shrine in Pokemon HeartGold & SoulSilver that allows you to travel back in time to battle Team Rocket boss Giovanni. Transferring Celebi to Pokemon Black & White unlocks Zorua for capture (this is the only way to get Zorua according to Pokemon.com). Did your eyes glass over as your read that... I didn't digest on piece of information BUT I knew my son would be putty in my hands if I stopped and got this "install."

If you want to change your status to "Super Mom" you should take your Pokemon Master to GameStop before March 6th with their GameBoy thing and Pokemon game. (This free thingie is ONLY until midnight March 4th.)

While you are there you can reserve your copy of Pokemon Black & White -- Just so you don't look as dumb as I did this is two games you will have to pick White or Black. I bought White I was told it was most popular.
