Anderson County Judge Robert Johnston has announced that the county has temporarily lifted the burn ban.  The judge's office says he feels like the county has received enough moisture lately to let people burn trash that has been stockpiling during the drought.  Parts of Anderson County received just under an inch of rain with this weekend's storms. More after the jump.

Judge Johnston still urges residence to use common sense when starting fires.  He also said county officials will be monitoring conditions closely and if fires or extreme conditions warrant, the burn ban will be put back in place.
