When you hear "let's go to the circus", you automatically think of fun loving clowns, elephants doing tricks and death defying high wire acts. Sounds like a great time, right? Thing is, there is a circus that is in Texas right now that isn't for the entire family. Its dubbed as an adults only circus and is full of paranormal debauchery. For most this isn't your thing but there are some that would have an absolute blast attending.

The Circus is in Town...

...its just not the type of circus you'd see at the Oil Palace. Currently, this circus is set up in Mercedes, Texas through this weekend (February 9 - 12) but will be making other Texas stops through March. No one under the age of 13 is even allowed in this circus because its so disturbing. It's called Paranormal Cirque and it's a circus that has one goal, to scare the hell out of you.

Not for Kids

You can get a preview of what to expect when you attend at paranormalcirque.com. Just be warned that this circus IS NOT for your kids. You're even greeted with this message as soon as you open their website:

Adults Only

Anyone between the ages of 13 and 17 won't get in without a parent but even between those ages, they shouldn't there. This really is an adult only show. It is not "under the big top" either. You will be frightened inside the "Clown Castle".

Dates in Texas

Currently, the circus is in Mercedes, Texas but will be in the following cities from now  through March:

  • Laredo - February 16 - 19
  • Midland - February 23 - March 5
  • Frisco - March 9 - 12
  • Amarillo - March 16 - 19

Ticket prices range from $10 for General Admission to $50 for VIP seats.

We know this isn't for everybody but if this sounds like a nice weekend trip for any of the ghouls and ghosts of East Texas, grab you a ticket or ten at paranormalcirque.com.

This small area of Tyler has significant history to the city. It was once a hopeful modern retail space that never took off. You can now imagine this area as a scene in The Walking Dead.

East Texans Who Have Played in the Super Bowl

It's one thing to make it to the NFL. It's another to actually make it all the way to the championship game. These East Texans have done just that with their team.
