Fall is a great time to be in East Texas because there are so many festivals to attend that will have plenty of food, rides, live music and entertainment for the whole family.

Gregg County Fair - Longview
September 6 - 14With roots dating back to 1949, this fair has fun for the entire family with rides, contests, live music, the Miss Gregg County pageant and more!
Uncle Fletch Hamburger Festival - Athens
September 28A proclamation was issued by the Texas Legislature naming Athens as the Official Home Of The Hamburger! The entire city will be celebrating one of the world's most popular foods!
East Texas State Fair - Tyler
September 20 - 29For more than 100 years the fair has been providing scholarships to East Texas students. One of the largest events in East Texas during the fall, this fair has it all! Fair food, carnival rides, entertaining shows, live music, livestock shows along with many other entertaining shows.
Fire Ant Festival - Marshall
