Most bands are lucky to break even when it comes to their sonic endeavors, but there are a few prominent rock and metal musicians out there that have been able to use $100 bills as wallpaper thanks to their illustrious careers.

Green Day have issued a brand-new official band photo (via Twitter) ahead of their forthcoming three-album blitz known as ’¡Uno!,’ ‘¡Dos!,’ and ‘¡Tre!’ trilogy — and it’s a pretty sweet shot. Frontman Billie Joe Armstrong and the boys mug for the cameras with their typical goofy faces in the picture, which we assume is a punk-rock band version of a high school yearbook shot.

If you’re a Green Day fan, then the next several months are going to be good ones for you, as the band is flooding the marketplace with material. Not all of it is new, either. Ahead of the trio’s upcoming trilogy -’Green Day ¡Uno!’ (Sept. 25), ‘Green Day ¡Dos!’ (Nov. 13) and ‘Green Day ¡Tré!’ (Jan. 15)- the band is also planning a career-spanning, eight-CD box set, due Sept. 4.

Green Day frontman Billie Joe Armstrong has joined up with the NBC reality talent show ‘The Voice.’ The TV singing competition will see a bit of a punk rock edge with Armstrong’s inclusion, but don’t expect the musician to grab a seat in one of those revolving chair things, as Armstrong will serve strictly as a mentor to Christina Aguilera’s team.

Congrats to Green Day! It was a big opening week for the trio, who just became only the third act in Billboard’s Nielsen BDS-based Rock Songs chart to debut at No. 1.
