It's been 20 years since the last Pink Floyd album came out, and now frontman Dave Gilmour is ready to knock the dust off and get the band rolling again. Gilmour's wife, Polly Samson, announced via Twitter that Pink Floyd would be releasing a new album, 'The Endless River,' in October of this year.

Durga McBroom-Hudson, who sang with the band back in the '80s, posted a photo on Facebook of herself and Gilmour in the studio. She said in the photo's caption, "YES. THERE IS A NEW PINK FLOYD ALBUM COMING OUT. AND I'M ON IT. And there was much rejoicing."

Gilmour must be eating his Wheaties lately. He also recently started working on a solo album. He enlisted the help of David Crosby and Graham Nash -- of Crosby, Stills and Nash fame -- to perform on it.

With these two upcoming albums and the announcement that former Floyd Roger Waters is also recording a solo album, it's a banner year for Pink Floyd fans.
