Multi-platinum band Candlebox, which rose to stardom in the heart of the grunge era in the early 1990s in Seattle, released their fifth studio album today and are ready to kick off their national tour this week -- and not too far away from home.

Candlebox sent Love Songs and Other Musings out to their fans today, just under 19 years after they released their self-titled album that sold more than 4 million copies and reached No. 7 on the Billboard charts.

The authors of hits such as "Far Behind," "Cover Me" and more are kicking off their tour to promote their new album on Friday (April 6) just a few miles down the road at Riverside Warehouse in Shreveport.

Get your tickets now, because only 450 are available. You can download Candlebox's new album on iTunes or go to their Facebook page to get $2 off the album at Best Buy.

In the meantime, relive some classic Candlebox with "Far Behind:"
