Alex Rodriguez Takes 88 MPH Changeup to the Hand, Suffers Fracture [VIDEO]

As a Rangers fan, I hate the Yankees, but no one likes to see an event like what happened in last night’s (July 24)game. The Yankees were taking on the Mariners. An 88-mph Felix Hernandez change-up hit A-Rod flush on the left hand and he immediately dropped to the dirt in obvious pain.

Rodriguez is expected to be out of the lineup for at least six to eight weeks after suffering a fracture of the left fifth metacarpal, the bone that extends to the pinkie.
