The Texas Rangers are just one victory away from their first ever World Series title in fifty years - so what's one more day right?  It's a big deal for Rangers fans who are already on the edge of their seats! Major League Baseball made the decision to postpone game 6 until Thursday night because of rain in the St. Louis area.  More after the jump.

Game 7, if necessary, will now be played on Friday night.  The weather forecast is favorable for both Thursday and Friday nights, so the games should be able to be played then.  Colby Lewis is still scheduled to pitch Game 6 for the Rangers with Matt Harrison to follow, if necessary, in Game 7. With the extra day of rest now, Derek Holland, who pitched 8 1/3 scoreless innings in Game 4, could pitch if needed on Friday, but manager Ron Washington, unless he has a change of heart, says he is still planning on Harrison for Game 7.
