World Famous Kilgore Rangerettes To Perform With Mariah Carey On Thanksgiving Day
It's a tradition in many East Texas homes each Thanksgiving morning, while the turkey is basting in the oven and the side dishes are being heated up on the stovetop, the desserts are sliced up and the final touches are being placed on the table, the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade is being shown on the TV. This parade has been entertaining families for years thanks to the oversized balloons, marching bands, drill teams, and live performances from artists across all genres that keep people watching of all ages.
This year the world-famous Kilgore Rangerettes from Kilgore College in Kilgore, Texas will be a part of the holiday tradition! The Kilgore Rangerettes will be a part of the parade that travels along Sixth Avenue in New York City for two-and-a-half miles. The ladies will take part in a special performance right in front of Macy's flagship store with pop sensation Mariah Carey Thursday morning.
The Kilgore Rangerettes are no strangers when it comes to high-profile performances, they've been in this position many times. When the parade gets underway, the drill team will be dancing in their traditional red, white and blue uniforms and then they'll be in special costumes during their performance with Mariah Carey right in front of Macy's.
The Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade begins at 9 a.m. Thursday morning and can be seen on NBC. A special group of Rangerettes Forever will help get the parade started in special maroon cheer uniforms.
