(KNUE-FM) Just about everyone in Texas love a good burger, and we are fortunate because there are lots of great restaurants in Texas serving up juicy delicious burgers. But there will be another popular burger joint that will be opening their first location in the Lone Star State and they should open their doors in less than a year from now.

Where Will White Castle Open in Texas?

According to WFAA, this will be the very first location in Texas for the Midwest-based fast-food restaurant. The first location selected in Texas is the very popular Grandscape at The Colony. It’s a fantastic area that just continues to grow with lots of activities for families in the area.

When Will White Castle Open in The Colony?

According to current plans, the first White Castle should be opening in the summer of 2026. White Castle has over 350 restaurants open currently, but the one opening in Texas next year will only be the seventh location outside of the Midwest.

The new restaurant is expected to hire 80 to 100 people for its first location.

What Makes White Castle Burgers Unique?

I’m curious to see the reaction in Texas to White Castle. While this will be their first location, most people have heard of the fast-food company, especially after the popular restaurant was named in the movie Harold & Kumar Go to White Castle.

My issue with the restaurant is they are known for square sliders with steamed onions, but I am not a big onion fan. So, if you see someone ordering their sliders without onions, don’t give me an odd look. I want to give them a shot, but without the onions.
