[WATCH] Dallas Guy Flies Off A Water Slide In Austin

A Dallas guy is seriously re-thinking hitting the water attractions in the future after he flew off an Austin area private slide over the weekend.

David Salmon posted a slow-motion video on Monday morning that recounts his trip to Lake Travis.  Mid-way through the ride, David can be seen sliding up and over the edge of the slide as his onlooking friends scream.

Salmon fell into a rocky area and it took rescue crews quite a while to get to him.  In all, he suffered a broken arm, several broken ribs and a bunch of cuts and bruises.  However, David is said to be in fine spirits and will make a complete recovery.

It's doubtful, however, that David will be adding Schlitterbahn or Hurricane Harbor to his list of things-to-do in Texas this summer.
