[WATCH] A Collection of Scary 2023 Texas Firework Fails

Did you enjoy Independence Day in Texas this year? I had a great time, and I even made it out with all of my fingers and both eyes, which is great because I actually sat with some old folks outside of a nursing home. If things had gone wrong there, that would have been horrific.

Unfortunately, some Texans didn't fair quite as well. While I spent the evening watching fireworks next to a 103-year-old woman in a cute pair of kitty cat house shoes, other parts of Texas saw some pretty crazy firework fails.

Here's a small collection of videos shared on TikTok over the past couple of days of things going super wrong on the 4th of July in Texas.

Let's begin with this one from Lake Conroe. This video doesn't show too much of what went wrong, but the emergency services at the end make you wonder...

Fingers crossed everyone made it out okay! You'd like we would know better than to drink beer and play with fireworks, but we just can't help ourselves. It's a tradition that isn't going away any time soon.
