(KNUE-FM) I’m a huge fan of Texas; I love living here and I will never understand why people would talk badly about the Lone Star State. While I enjoy it, I know there are still things that could be improved upon, one of the top issues on that list is how we drive in Texas.

Why Texas Roads Are So Dangerous

Most of us have been behind the wheel and had a driver speed past us at unsafe speeds or just look around and you’ll probably notice quite a few people staring at their phones instead of paying attention to the road and other vehicles. While I appreciate everything law enforcement does to keep us safe, they can’t be everywhere all the time.

The Tyler Road Rage Video Explained

I’ve seen people doing illegal things while on the loop in Tyler that quickly got the attention of law enforcement, but that video was from a couple years ago. Although recently when I was scrolling on TikTok I came across a new video that was taken in Tyler showing a road rage incident and this one was recent.

I don’t know what led up to this confrontation, but it must have been something bad for someone to exit their vehicle and approach another vehicle when a Texas Constable was only a couple vehicles away.

How to Stay Safe on Texas Roads

We have all been in a situation when someone does something stupid, but remember to let it go. It’s not uncommon to hear about road rage incidents turning into violence and even death.

Remember you have a family that wants you to make it home at the end of your day, don’t let frustration on Texas roadways stop that from happening.
