Two Dead at Kaufman Walmart

Multiple outlets (KLTV, WFAA, Dallas Morning News) are reporting that an as-yet unidentified man walked into the Walmart on Highway 175 in Kaufman and shot an employee before turning the gun on himself. Both men died at the scene.

Customers and employees were evacuated from the store but were allowed to return around 11 a.m. Schools in the area were put on temporary lockdown but have since reopened.
