Top 3 Excuses Texas Kids Will Use To Avoid Back To School
Well, Its That Time Of The Year For Kids To Head Back To The Classrooms And With That Comes The EXCUSES.
For many students, the return to the classroom also means reconnecting with friends, participating in school sports, and engaging in hands-on learning experiences. The enthusiasm is especially high among younger children, who look forward to the routine and structure that school provides.
But there's those who aren't looking forward to going back. They're little imaginations are about to run wild with ideas on how to avoid going back to class and extending the summer. Here's what you can expect to hear in the coming days and weeks.
1. Mysterious Illnesses: An Uptick In "Tummy Aches".
Despite spending the summer in PEAK physical condition, eating any and everything all summer long, the return of school brings about the infamous "my stomach hurts" excuses. Notice for 3 straight months, they NEVER had a single "gastro-intestinal" problems but best believe they will be using this one EARLY and OFTEN.
2. My Phone Isn't Charged Up All The Way.
While the "tummy ache" is a classic, the modern and NEW excuse kids use to avoid school is their cell phones. Thankfully, lots of school districts have stated to BAN smartphone usage in classrooms citing lack of attention paid in class. But if your district still allows it, go ahead and but them a portable charging pack and send them on their way.
3. I Don't Like My Teacher/Class
This excuse is going to be used a lot but its the perfect opportunity to teach your kids that you can't always get what you want and that we ALL have to occasionally do things or work with people we personally don't like but it must get done.
Don't let these kids play you parents, DO YOUR JOB and send them back to school right.
