10 Things You Should Throw Out While Doing Your Spring Cleaning
We live in a very consumable society. Online shopping has afforded us the opportunity to purchase anything we want at any time we want and it will be delivered to our front door, sometimes in a matter of minutes.
With all of this purchase power and ease of acquiring things, we are accumulating a lot of stuff. I mean a lot of stuff. With so much stuff, where are we putting it all and where's it ending up?
Many of our kitchen drawers, cabinets, and closets are serving as catch-alls and getting filled with gadgets, cards, weird tools, bills, batteries, and so many other oddities that there comes a point where we have to purge some things and declutter our living environments.
Springtime in East Texas is a perfect time to go through your place and 'Marie Kondo' it. Some simple spring cleaning and organizing will make your place look a lot better and you'll feel better too with so much stuff though you might be overwhelmed and wonder where do you begin.
Well, you'll need some large boxes or trash bags to start with along with some time that you can dedicate to going through one room at a time. You'll also need some cleaning supplies and the ability to part with things you haven't used in quite some time.
Once the process begins take things slow and don't overwhelm yourself. When you've made a decision to get rid of something, get rid of it. If it's something that can benefit someone else, think about giving it to them or a charitable organization within your community. Or save all unwanted things from your spring cleaning for a yard sale and make some money off of your old clutter.
