Texas Mega Millions, Powerball Jackpot Both Over $300 Million
Many of us are already making plans for 2018 by making yearly resolutions. Some are probably going to lose more weight, or stop swearing, or make plans to be a better person. Well, how about making a resolution starting the New Year a millionaire? Yeah, it sounds like a long shot, but if you’re lucky it could be a reality.
The Powerball and Mega Millions from the Texas Lottery have both rolled over increasing both jackpots over $300 million each. From CNN Money, no one had the winning numbers on Wednesday’s Powerball drawing 3, 9, 16, 56, and 60 with the Powerball number 3 which caused it to roll over and have an estimated jackpot of $384 million.
Now the Mega Millions jackpot on Friday is already at $306 million and drawing is set for 10 p.m. There hasn’t been a winner since October 13th when two tickets split a $43 million dollar jackpot.
The odds of winning the Powerball jackpot have been estimated to be around 1 in 292.2 million and the odds of winning the Mega Millions are 1 in 302.6 million.
