Texas is a fair state, but the law enforcement agencies and officers will hold you accountable for your actions. That could mean everything from a traffic ticket to planning your execution. If you commit a crime in Texas, you better expect to do the time. And there are four executions that are on the books currently, three planned in the remaining months of 2024 and one planned for February of 2025.

In each of the instances below there was someone or multiple people that lost their life. We are talking about families that lost a loved one for no reason. I’m heartbroken for the families that have waited for years for the upcoming executions, and hope that they can find peace and resolution after they receive the punishment for their actions.

Kids Were Victims in Some of These Crimes

As I was looking up the details on the upcoming executions from the Texas Department of Criminal Justice website I was disgusted to hear about children being the victims in multiple cases. We are talking about kids who haven’t had a chance to experience life and it was cut short by an adult. It’s just horrible, and I am glad to see that Texas will hold people accountable for their actions.
