Newly announced acts such as Slash, Black Label Society and Limp Bizkit join Ozzy Osbourne & Friends, Guns N’ Roses, Motorhead and Slayer on the festival’s power-packed lineup.

Recently, it seems a lot of unlikely artists are signing with the Cash Money Records Label, and it looks like Limp Bizkit is now the most recent member of the Cash Money Records family.

Limp Bizkit‘s Fred Durst promised fans that he’d have “huge news” about the band this month, and just in the nick of time, he’s lived up to his word: According to an announcement released today, he and his bandmates will be entering 2012 ready to continue their “true rock and roll journey” without a record label.

What could be funnier than Limp Bizkit’s Fred Durst in a sitcom? Apparently, that’s what CBS was thinking when they inked a new deal with Durst to star in an upcoming comedy project.

Over a decade ago Limp Bizkit blew up on the music scene. With a heavy mix of rap and rock, their sound was highly loved and highly hated at the same time. Tough times between band members broke them up years ago, but the original line up is back. With a new album on the way, the response is the same as it was a decade ago.
