Sometimes cats become residents in Mom and Pop stores, vet clinics, and apparently libraries. But one Texas town has evicted the resident cat from the library, and now it's got some people petitioning and calling voters to weigh in. It's not Kilgore, Palestine, or Longview, although we know you guys love your cats. The cat controversy is happening a little further west.

It was November 22nd, 1963 that President John F. Kennedy was assassinated at Dealey Plaza in Dallas, and many are planning ways to pay tribute today and tomorrow. The City of Tyler says on its website that the Tyler Public Library will host a two-day event Thursday, Nov. 21 and Friday, Nov. 22, in remembrance of John F. Kennedy. The library will feature oral histories, films and displays, and adm
