Former Guns N’ Roses bass slinger Duff McKagan is once again on the road with his good buddies, as his band Loaded is opening for a pair of dates on GN’R’s uber-raved about tour. When first presented with the offer to play, though, McKagan admits that he wasn’t sure he wanted to join up with his Axl Rose and the current line-up of his old band.
At last night’s Guns N’ Roses show (Dec. 16) at the Key Arena in Seattle, ex-GN’R bassist Duff McKagan hopped on stage to perform with his former band and its current lineup. Fans were likely expecting such a cameo, since McKagan’s band Loaded opened for GN’R and will do so again tonight (Dec. 17) at the Pacific Coliseum in Vancouver, British Columbia. Seventeen years ago today, Nirvana lead singer Kurt Cobain took his own life. There have been reports that Duff McKagan was one of the last people to see the rocker when they happened to be on the same flight to Seattle together.
