80s

When I was a kid in the late ‘80s and ‘90s we weren’t running around with tiny computers in our pockets called cell phones. We were equipped with writing utensils, notebook paper and our wits.

To give us a break from the high bun and low ponytail, we may be seeing more banana hair clips soon on Zoom and at the grocery store. The double combs that were big in the 80s are making a comeback.

Bold colors and prints are about to find their way out of 80s videos and back into mainstream fashion, and we'll hear more 80s influences in music next year too. There will be nothing subtle about 2020.
