Student Hit By Car Near REL High School

A pedestrian accident early Tuesday morning sent one student to the hospital.

According to KLTV, Dawn Parnell, Tyler ISD spokesperson, confirmed that a high school student was hit by a vehicle while crossing Donnybrook Avenue around 7:30 a.m. Tuesday. The student was using the crosswalk.

The student was taken to a local hospital, but the extent of his or her injuries was not released.
