Steely Dan’s Donald Fagen Arrested for Domestic Violence
On Monday, Steely Dan vocalist/songwriter and Rock and Roll Hall of Famer, Donald Fage,n was arrested following a fight with his wife, Libby Titus. He has been charged with misdemeanor assault.
According to the New York Police Department, the couple were involved in a verbal dispute which then turned into a physical altercation as Fagen shoved Titus into a marble window frame.
The couple met in the mid-sixties while attending Bard College and remained close until finally tying the knot in 1993. Fagen formed Steely Dan with guitarist Walter Becker and although the band hasn't released an album since 2003's Everything Must Go, they continue to tour regularly.
Steely Dan was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2001.
