Following an on stage surprise for a Doobie Brothers encore at the Ryman in Tennessee only a few weeks ago, lead man Patrick Simmons announced to a packed house that the man that came to the bands aid back in 1975 in Simmons absence, would indeed be joining them for a 50th Anniversary Tour beginning June 9th in West Palm Beach Florida.

News of the tour caught fire shortly after the full schedule was released less than 2 weeks ago, and subsequently has forced the band and promoters to add 23 dates to their schedule because of huge demand.
