Is everybody losing their mind? With everything going on at schools all across our nation, can you really believe a high school principal would do something this stupid? People, stop the madness! The new principal at a high school in Everett, Mass., has been suspended for showing a video in which he stalks the school dressed as Arnold Schwarzenegger's character in the movie "Terminator 2." If you aren't familiar with the movie, it's rated R and extremely gruesome and violent.

The superintendent of the school, Frederick Foresteire, admitted to ABC Boston affiliate, WCVB-TV, that the principal's actions were inappropriate and that he had suspended the principal, Erik Naumann, for two days without pay. He does add that Naumann is a good leader who made a bad decision, and will not be fired.

Naumann and his lawyer appeared at a closed school committee hearing last night and he apologized for the video.

Naumann, who has been an educator for more than 10 years,  recently became the principal at Everett High School. In a video he produced himself, Naumann presented himself as a killer from the movie "Terminator 2: Judgement Day," where he walked the hallways of the school.

The clip, which shows burning playgrounds and empty classrooms, was funny by some when it was played for his new students during morning announcements Jan. 7.

Critics, however, didn't see the humor, especially in the wake of the recent attack at Sandy Hook Elementary where 26 innocent people lost their lives.

I for one believe in giving people second chances, we all make mistakes. But in this specific case, as good of a man and educator as he might be, should not be allowed to continue as principal of this, or any school.

What do you say, East Texas?
