Local residents have teamed up to create a 'field of dreams' for kids with special needs in Longview, TX. After years of fundraising and work, the Miracle Field of East Texas is coming together, and you can lend your support and become a part of the Wall of Fame.

Whether your an individual or representing a local business, you can lend your support and take your place on the Wall of Fame at the new Miracle League Field. The field surface was recently completed, and the dream will soon be realized.

This field will offer children an opportunity to play baseball, who are physically unable to participate on a standard field. A recent donation from Longview native Chris Davis, of the Baltimore Orioles, of $50,000 has helped bring this field to completion.

“When you think about East Texas and baseball, Chris Davis is going to come to mind, and when you have a project like this, he’s the guy that pops in your head,” Chris Stuckey said. “He went above and beyond anything we could’ve honestly imagined. It means a lot, and it’s cool to see. He’s a Maryland resident now, but he has his roots in Longview, and it means a lot to him.”

Purchasing a memorial block in the Wall of Fame cements your support of the Miracle Field, and you can list your name for as little as $100. Businesses or individuals who would like a prominent display can purchase a 12x12" space for text or a logo for $2,400.
