Patrick Mahomes’ Dad Arrested For DWI In Texas
The Super Bowl is just a week away but there's unfortunate news for the family of one of the big games biggest stars from East Texas.
Patrick Mahomes II is about to head up against the San Francisco 49ers in Las Vegas next week but his Dad, who is usually seen at his games, may not be there to see it.
Patrick Mahomes Sr. Was Arrested In Tyler Saturday Night.
According to multiple reports and Smith County Jail records, Patrick Mahomes Sr. was arrested on Saturday night for allegedly driving while intoxicated 3rd or more.
Mahomes’ bond has not yet been set and he’s being held at the Smith County Jail as of the time of this article Sunday afternoon.
Jail Records Show Mahomes Sr. Has Had Several DWI's Dating Back To 2012.
Jail records show Mahomes was arrested twice in March and September of 2012, 2 more arrests in 2018 and one more back in 2019 for DWI second or more for which he was sentenced to 40 days in jail.
He reportedly served the time on weekends to fulfill his requirement.
No Comment Has Been Released From The Mahomes Camp.
The senior Mahomes is from Lindale who played in Major League Baseball from 1992 to 2003 with the Minnesota Twins, Boston Red Sox, New York Mets, Texas Rangers, Chicago Cubs, and Pittsburgh Pirates.
Mahomes is divorced. He has two sons with his ex-wife, Patrick II, who is a quarterback for the Kansas City Chiefs, and Jackson, who is a social media influencer. He also has a third son Graham Walker, who plays football at Brown, and a daughter, Zoe.
