Only One Texas Team Remains in the NCAA Tournament
All the brackets are busted now, meaning there are no perfect brackets remaining in the billion dollar challenge. Warren Buffet is breathing a sigh of relief!
Friday night was exciting, with the big win for East Texas' own Stephen F. Austin in the NCAA tournament. What a huge upset win over Virginia Commonwealth! It was the first NCAA tournament win ever for the Jacks. Congrats!
Sunday, the Lumberjacks couldn't quite get past the UCLA Bruins in the Round of 32. The Bruins won the game 77-60, and they move on to the Sweet 16 and the Lumberjacks head back to Nacogdoches.
The Jacks had a chance to be one of the tournament's surprise Cinderella teams, but instead finish the season with an overall record of 32-3.
It was a great season, Jacks! Congrats on making the NCAA tournament, and we know good things are in store for next year.
Baylor is the only remaining Texas team in the tournament.
