Officer Involved Shooting In Lindale Sends Man To The Hospital
UPDATE: An employee of a nearby business, who wishes to remain anonymous, states that an altercation began outside, in the parking lot between a man and a woman. Police were then called to the scene and this led to an officer downing the man involved. It appears to have been a domestic dispute gone awry.
The officer involved has been placed on administrative leave, which is normal for such circumstances, while the Texas Rangers investigate.
Jackie's remains open for business and it should be noted that while the incident happened on-site, the altercation did not originate inside the restaurant.
